The reason behind genital wars is the Human Papilloma virus. It’s the most active sexually transmitted disease, and statistics show that it is growing. You can notice warts on any part of your body that has had sexual or physical contact with a person that is infected with the disease. In the majority of cases it would be the throat area, the genitals or your mouth. They appear as small bumps or clusters.
The disease is often not noticed since genital warts do not occur in all cases, so a person can have the virus and not even realize it. The virus is easily passed on through sexual intercourse.
